Guys Kicks
It’s times when I see shoes like this that I wish I could actually FIT into guys’ shoes. So sleek. So classy. They remind me of my high tops but shoes that are cleaner and ones that I would do anything to protect and keep clean. This pair by Common Projects is going for $335 a pop.

Gossip Girl Spinoff
I’ve seen this floating around recently but I was never into making a whole post about it.. basically Lily and Rufus have a past, we all know that but this new show (hence spinoff of Gossip Girl) will feature a much younger version of Lily and Rufus and will show us how this steamy adult romance really got heated up back in the day!

I hope this show is as good as they’re making it out to be!

Slum Sadness continues
It’s already bad enough to hear the news that the child actors from Slumdog Millionaire live in devestating poverty. We felt a little bit better when Danny Boyle said that he was going to purchase houses/apartments for them and their families. But I have a sinking and unsettling feeling when I hear that one of that young actors was struck by his own father. And it doesn’t help that there are pictures.

I’ve only looked at 7 collections so far from the Milan bunch but this is my favorite! I absolutely LOVE the deep colors mixed with the bright. Various shades of purple and pink have been my favorite for the past year and I’m loving the knee high socks… this is fall… but I’m thinking about throwing these in for spring!

Kaskade – Strobelight Seduction
So this CD came out June 3rd, 2008… I’m a little late once again but I have been listening to it non-stop all week. I’ve always been a fan of Kaskade since they/he produced one of my favorite songs “Steppin’ Out.” I remember the first time I heard it on REAL WORLD. And just recently I heard “Move For Me” off this album so I decided to just download the whole thing next time I was home. It’s goodness. I recommend. I’m especially fond of the song “Your Love is Black” – maybe it’s cause it doesn’t sound like anything else on the rest of the album.

Bad day? Life effed?
It might not be anything compared to the stories you’re reading on fmylife.com My friend Ben introduced me to this site a couple weeks ago and every time I feel like I’m having a bad day ie) the day I hot glue gunned my finger – I realize that people have it a lot worse than I do.
I know this is a late post, especially since I discovered a few weeks ago and I know other people have heard about it for way longer since it’s always their status buuuuuuuuuuuut I figured I would post anyways.
