Super Mash Brothers – All About The Scrilions

One year after they’re first album dropped, the dynamic duo Dick Fink and Nicolas Fenmore got back to work again on their second album “All About The Scrilions,” released today.
I’m listening to it as we speak! I’m not sure about my feelings for it just yet but I love a good mash-up.

MSTRKRFT ft. John Legend
I know I know… I’m jumping on this train pretty late but my excuse is that I’ve been listening to other music hahah
Anyways, just stumbled across this video of MSTRKRFT performing “Heartbreaker,” ft John Legend on Letterman from last night and thought I would share!
I don’t know too much about this band and anyone who performs w/ John Legend is a winner in my book ;)
Still can’t wait to see MSTRKRFT perform at Bumbershoot this summer! Dance parties like it’s my job.
Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground @ Neumos
This Friday, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground will be performing at Neumos on Capital Hill in Seattle.
They will be performing alongside Mewithoutyou and The Dear Hunter.

Breckin Meyer is funny! Brings the lulz
Alright. What happened to Perez Hilton is not completely funny, but it’s a little bit funny. I think the lawsuits and the threatening to sue everyone that believes it’s okay to hit people is going a bit overboard.
I sided with him at first cause whatever I don’t like violence haha but after making my brother watch Perez Hilton’s response video and seeing him suffer through the unbearableness I realized …this is a funny video. It’s jokes now! Eventually people will get over it.

NYC Prep talk all day every day. That’s all I’ve been hearing today. Countless reviews, remarks and jabs at the cast.
But what could anyone expect?
These kids made it known to the world that they were essentially spoiled rich kids. I’ve decided that although they may have negative qualities about them, there is at least one thing that I like about each character. Anyways, to add more to the NYC Prep discussion talk post premiere episode, I found a guide on ONTD that will explain all you need to know.

Harper’s Bazaar snags Tallulah Belle
Fifteen year old Tallulah Belle, (right) daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore has begun an internship with the print magazine Harper’s Bazaar.
But according to the US Deptartment of Labor, Willis‘ age — she’s 15 — and the fact that she’s unpaid and not receiving school credit, means the magazine is technically in violation of federal labor law. A Harper’s rep told us, “Tallulah is a guest of Harper’s Bazaar, shadowing our editors for a couple of weeks.”

Maria Sharapova helped in the unveiling of a new dress (left) that lights up when the wearer’s mobile phone rings. British fashion student, Georgie Davies, designed this innovative dress for a school project and has partnered with Sony Ericsson in bringing new technology to fashion.
“Davies said the dress was designed to connect to the wearer’s phone via Bluetooth technology. “When you’re in a pub or a bar, you can never, ever hear your phone,” Davies told Reuters. The good thing is this dress is actually wearable and not at all overly Sci-Fi-looking. The dress is knee-length, white, short-sleeved, and is embellished along one side with translucent white scales (think square paillettes) that move and light up”
I would wear it even if it didn’t light up. I think it’s super cute, but nonetheless it’s still a great invention so kudos to Georgie.
Handbags: The Carrier of Germs
Could it be? One of our prized possessions is really our enemy? The thought never occured to me until now when I was reminded by The Frisky. Let’s consider this: our bags have touched everything. You drop it on the seat of your car or on the seat next to you on the bus. You brush up against someone downtown. You drop loose change inside. You set it on the ground while you pick up something else. You set it on the ground when you’re in the bathroom. (There was no hook!) You are always putting your hand in it and or in close contact with it.
Germs. This is how it gets started. And it’s hard for me to believe that the protector of my belongings is not protecting me in this situation. I have realized that you probably gave me the flu for 2 months in fall quarter.

I’m Convinced My teacher is…
a much older version of actress Jane Lynch. “And I am NOT lying to you,” she really is. She is a comedian first and a business calculus teacher second I swear. Now that I am aware of this fact, I will probably start enjoying class more just thinking about this resemblance.

- Casting is underway for a possible Facebook movie to be titled, “The Social Network.” Shia Labeouf and Michael Cera are possible candidates to play the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg.
