I’ve been following the details of this case for the past few days now and it is tragedy gone wrong? That sentence is such a fail because I honestly don’t know how I would even begin to describe this situation.

Here’s the story according to what I’ve read and I’ll only use the facts that I know of. Steve McNair had been an NFL quarterback with a wife and four kids. Sahel Kazemi was a young girl who clearly was a little bit too much in love with Steve McNair than he was with her. At the time, the scene of the murder, McNair had been living in his condo that he shared with Kazemi, why he was not with his family? I do not know. The condo was sparse with alcohol and some money lying around, but it didn’t look like a place that people would really live in, which gives off this idea that it was a place for hooking up.

Kazemi was very into this relationship, but when she heard word that there might be a new woman in the picture she purchased a gun. Decided to shoot him in the temple while he was on the couch and more shots to the chest. She then shot herself in the temple and tried to position herself on his lap. In reality, gravity brought her to the floor. I think the girl wanted to be seen as more than just a mistress in the end, which is sad really. I’m sure it sucks to be THAT girl, but c’mon … wife… kids. Family.

I think my conclusion to this is that I believe love is a strong power. But it can turn you into the worst kind of human being quickly. It makes you become selfish.
