‘Scuze? Can I get some privacy puh-leeze

Celebrities will soon be thanking creator, Adam Harvey for the bag that will save their lives! The paparazzi need a lesson in learning their boundaries. Some celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton call the photographers beforehand because they WANT the attention and NEED their pictures in the magazine so people can start talking about them again. Some celebrities don’t want that at all and would rather keep their private lives.. private and protect their children like Ryan Phillippe or Britney Spears.

Adam Harvey has created a new clutch that has the ability to detect flashes of light (from paparazzi) and cause it to then activate its own flashing light that will ruin that photo or shot of the celebrity.

The limited edition clutch will be released Spring of 2010

Home sick?

Going to an out-of-state school can be really difficult sometimes. Buy a pillow that reminds you of home and squeeze it tight because that’s probably the best you’re gonna get. :)

The brand “Love, California,” also makes these pillows in the shapes of Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois and hearts (for a non-state mix.)

Karlie Kloss Syndrome

I used to think Karlie Kloss was the only model that had a pretty bad bitch face on the runway, but it turns out she came with company.

These come from COACD

Why can’t everyone just smile like this one?!

Life of Nails

I’ve been noticing a trend lately within photography more and more. Instead of using people as subjects, photographers turn towards inanimate objects to represent people. Photographer Vlad Artazov chose nails.

Yow Yow News!

Just a reminder – Spamming is not welcome on my blog. Please don’t. I like to keep things simple for readers and myself as much as possible.

- I am toying with the idea of interviews for my blog. I have many people in mind and one that is already willing, I’m just trying to decide the best way to execute this, but depending on how many people I will have the chance to interview with in terms of availability and who can get back to me, this is all up in the air for now.

Have a great weekend everyone! Thanks for reading

Metrodad gives necessary advice to his daughter and others.

This is probably one of my favorite blogs to read during my daily perusing. Metrodad recently did a post entitled “25 life lessons for my daughter,” but in fact these are life lessons that everyone should take to heart.

Therefore, I am passing it on to you in hopes that you will all enlighten yourself with something new today.

What does your favorite social network say about you?

This is probably the most interesting article I’ve read in awhile. The article by Advertising Age focuses on four different social networks and what this reveals about your personality as well as the usual statistics and facts. There’s no denying that social media is taking over the world, I just read an article today that by the year 2014, Social Media Marketing will hit $3.1 billion.  [Article here] Probably a good idea that my intended career path will touch on this.

- Facebook

- MySpace

- Twitter

- LinkedIn

Check out the article here and see what it says about you! It’s pretty lengthy but I bet you could use the summer read.

DC locals hate the Real World – want them out now

The Real World has been alive for 23 seasons. Over the years, the roommates (cast) have notoriously been known for their hookups, breakups, drama, fights, having a job, and non-stop partying. The house is usually the coolest thing you’ve ever seen and somehow every season, when the cast goes out after a night of partying some local(s) will try to start shit with them.

Why the locals are bothered with the cast and crew, I’m not really sure. My first guess is jealousy, but I feel like that’s not always the case. Maybe it’s a distraction, maybe they don’t want the crew swarming all up in their business. When the Seattle season filmed I was 7-8 years old. What did I know?

Now that the DC filming has begun, the locals are angry! So angry they created a blog about it. The man that runs the blog lives about 20 ft from the house and documents these so called “douchebags,” by posting pictures and ranting.

Anti Real World DC

If you’er from DC, you might as well go check out the house yourself and try and get a glimpse of this cast, here’s the address!

stalk away!

2000 S Street NW

Borderstan is it? Apparently it’s across from Whole Foods.
