Gingerphobia in the 206

On Friday, the trusty Central District police scanner caught word around 3:45 p.m. that there was a disturbance at 1500 East Union Street. Apparently the building’s custodian wanted a man removed from the property, noting he was scared of the man because he has red hair. Really? Red hair? What’s wrong with gingers? It’s bad enough they face extinction, but have we all become so jaded that we’re not shocked to find that gingerphobia really exists?

AHAHAHA good ‘ol Seattle. This makes me smile.

Demi Lovato’s album preview

Despite what you think you know about this Disney singer being very pop-ish and essentially very Disney, you are probably wrong. Her voice is good, her songs are catchy. Maybe you should give her a second chance.

Her new album comes out July 21st.

1. Stop the World (Co-Written with Nick Jonas)
2. World of Chances (Co-Written with John Mayer)
3. You Got Nothin’ On Me
4. Got Dynamite
5. Catch Me
6. Solo
7. Every Time You Lie
8. Everything You’re Not
9. Remember December
10. Gift of a Friend
11. Falling Over Me

Demi has written or co-written all of her songs on this album except for her current single
“Here We Go Again.”

A Type & A Shadow Listening Party

Because I can’t deprive you all of good music…

Tomorrow, my friends Eric and Andrew will be releasing their six-song EP A Type & A Shadow. This is their first release from their two-year hiatus since Eric has been away on his mission trip. I’ve been listening to it since I got home from class today and am so happy for these guys and their success after having known them all these years since they first came together as a group. They work so incredibly hard and have come a long way from “Beauty in the Breakdown.”

If you haven’t heard their stuff before, click the link or visit their MySpace and listen to it while you do other things on your computer. If you’re a fan, you’re going to love their new EP, also check out their MySpace for tour dates and when they’ll be in your city next. :)

Have a great day everyone!

Jon Gosselin thinks he’s tight…NATT

Meet Jon’s new girlfriend Hailey Glassman. She is 22 years old and the daughter of the plastic surgeon that performed Kate’s tummy tuck.

Scandalousss.

Meet Jon’s new career. He will be designing a children’s clothing line for  Ed Hardy by Christian Audgier. But it’s a two for one deal because Hailey will get in on this deal too!

I’m disgusted.

The show will come back from the hiatus on August 3rd on TLC.

oh sure Hailey, you look nice now but who were you before you met Jon?

No more of the “okay get F@ck of my house now” bit

MTV Cribs is in it’s 2347398 season and they’ve gone through so many stars they’re showcasing off normies. Normies that are teenagers younger than me who were born into incredible houses.

I’m over it, kind of like the rest of the world?

Todd Selby is an amazing photographer who has decided to bring to you “cribs” in snapshot form. Not only do you get to see most of the home and office of photographers, artists, musicians, celebrities and tv personalities, but you get to see them in their actual environment.

Here are some photos of fashion designer Chrissie Miller’s place!
