The popular coffee chain is wondering if they should expand their stores to serve wine and beer during the evening hours. In fact, there may be a Seattle store already that has tried this out, but as of right now I am unaware of which location.
If the trial run proves to be a hit, then the store will decide to serve at the larger Starbucks locations, but will look a little different than the traditional store we are used to seeing.
The beers and wines are suspected to come straight out of the Northwest and will be selling for about $4-$7
Interesting…and probably a good recession response. Victrola Coffee has already been doing this for awhile, and I imagine other places, so it’ll be interesting to see if this catches on with Starbucks.
