Street Scene Music Festival Recap

When San Diego parties, they do it up big. This had to be … better than any Capitol Hill Block Party or Bumbershoot I have ever attended. So here are some things I’ve discovered/learned tonight

  • Gregg Gillis of Girl Talk denied me tonight by not giving me a wristband to go on stage with him, and I cried. It’s not that embarassing, I’m just very passionate about some things k?
  • Bands that people should start listening to now: Holy Fuck and Matt and Kim
  • Tonight, some girl denied me from taking her street style photo. That’s a first
  • Southern California boys are very good looking
  • I love San Diego
  • I love this music festival
  • If the rest of the world is dancing to Girl Talk, you should be dancing to Girl Talk too
  • If you get on stage for Girl Talk don’t act like it’s your own personal stage for karaoke.
  • I dance too hard, and then I get danced on
  • A boy in pigtails jumped on both of my feet

Here’s a low quality video of their performance of the song, but if you’re feelin’ it I suggest you look for it elsewhere too.

The Details

Even though a lot of movies tend to “take place” in Seattle, many of them are not actually filmed here. However, today at around 2 PM the new movie, “The Details,” is being filmed at the Seattle Police Department’s West Precinct at 8th and Virginia. Come watch a piano be dropped on Tobey Maguire. You know you want to.

Marie Digby – Say It Again

I’ve been listening to Marie for awhile now and absolutely adore her! She sounds a lot like Sara Bareilles.

A disorder of its own

I suffer from eating boredom I’ve decided. Not the one where you continuously eat when you bored although I already do that sometimes, but I can’t eat a certain thing for a long amount of time. I’ve decided that I like tasting so much that I can’t be limited to just one.

Does anyone have this problem too? It actually makes it really hard to eat surprisingly/unsurprisingly.
