I have never had a Valentine before. Isn’t that the saddest thing? Don’t feel sorry for me. Valentine’s Day should not be spent alone, but unfortunately for many people and myself included, these things happen sometimes. I have always wanted to know what it was like to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Everything I can go off of is what happens in the movies or in television shows. Sometimes my friends will share with me their stories, but I never used to take them that seriously because… c’mon it was high school.
I think that I won’t even be able to spend Valentine’s Day with anyone this year even if I wanted to. It’d be nice if I could get a box of red velvet cupcakes though. That would probably make my day awesome. Then, I will take that box and eat them all. by. myself. and “love” it while watching Definitely, Maybe.
The Stranger blog, Slog, is holding a contest to find the sexiest people of Seattle. If you feel like nominating someone, all you have to is upload a photo to the group pool on their Flickr account here. Today I was reading my daily news from their site and managed to see this announcement above a picture of an old co-worker. He was a barista… but unfortunately for me, I never had the chance of really getting to know him. I missed out on one sexy person HOBviously.
Meet Seattle’s sexiest accountant. She’s the Morton’s salt girl. Loves it.
More details for the contest can be found here

Because sometimes you just can’t find the right words to say how you feel and no one can help you…except for a good song that is. Wisdom Bits pulls notable song lyrics from famous musicians and bands and has paired them with pretty colors for your inspiration.

I know it’s easy to get lazy and become so trusting of other college students on campus, but you should never really leave your laptop lying around. Laptops get stolen all the time! And if you think about it… your laptop is a large part of your life. Homework, papers, email, Facebook, Twitter… etc. Everyone’s priorities are different, but nonetheless the geniuses at Twelve South decided to invent the BookBook to disguise your laptop.
