This morning, Tiger Woods had his first press conference since his scandal back in November.
I didn’t personally watch it, but I heard it from my television. I actually feel sorry for the guy and it’s a shame that he made the decisions that he did. I always thought he was a much better guy than that, but meh. It happens I suppose. His apology kind of went like this…
“I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selflsih behavior,” Woods said.
Golf’s biggest star addressed the shocking and sordid sex scandal that has consumed his life since late November.
“I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated,” he said. “I am the only person to blame.”
Woods vowed to “never repeat the mistakes” he made and “live a life of integrity.”
At least it sounded slightly better than Chris Brown’s apology and we alllllll remember how THAT went. Terribly.
PS his wife Elin did not make an appearance this morning.
