The Garden Collection H&M vs F21

H&M and Forever 21 are two of my favorite “fast fashion” clothing stores. I know it sounds generic when I call these stores my favorite because that’s what the entire mainstream world says, but in their defense, for the most part they produce decent clothing. It’s wearable, inexpensive, versatile, and trendy.

Both lines have recently released the press images for their Garden Collection and I’m having a hard time choosing which one I like most. They’re just that good.

Nice w/ simple jeans or a white knee length skirt?

Chile Earthquake

My heart goes out to those who were affected by this earthquake. Keeping everyone in my thoughts! It is disappointing that we have had a difficult beginning with this year first w/ Haiti, now Chile, and those who are on Tsunami watch.

Also this week in sad news, we say goodbye to Marie Osmond’s son who was 18 and actor Andrew Koenig who was 41. Both committed suicide.

Question:

Remember when MTV debuted their new show “College Life” last year? I thought it was going to be really good, but then it wasn’t what I expected and the first episode let me down so hard that I stopped watching. I feel like MTV has a lot of shows like that. They play it off like there is potential in a new direction of a show, but then it just fails. But maybe it didn’t fail. Did anyone watch it and finish out the whole season? I’d like to know what the rest of it is like, but I am not going to put myself through the actual full season.

Way to stay strong Buried Life.

Restaurant Closing

Vi Bacchus on Union Street in Capitol Hill has closed. Aww sad day for this sushi restaurant who even had the Seattle University roll on their menu. It’s a tough market out there for sushi restaurants these days. I’ve only eaten there a couple of times, but it’s nowhere near my favorite Wasabi Bistro. They had a good run and they catered well to young underage students at Seattle University…if you know what I mean.

I wonder what new restaurant will take it’s place!
