In my scene days, I spent most of my time perusing music websites like PureVolume instead of the fashion blogs and news sites I look at now. PureVolume was like the first Myspace music page and it exposed many unsigned bands, independent bands and mainstream bands to the world. Every Seattle band I was listening to at that time had a PureVolume page before MySpace. I haven’t been on this site in quite some time, but they have compiled a list of their top 20 unsigned bands for 2009 sure to make it big within the next year.
