amfAR’s Cinema Against Aids Gala

Jennifer Lopez in Roberto Cavalli – Usually I think Cavalli is a little too much for these events, but she did a great job making it look elegant and appropriate at the same time. I am also loving this soft sheeny pink for spring! 4.8

Emily Blunt in Edition by George Chakra – Girl, made this dress look good. I especially like the back detail. 4.2

Camilla Belle in Gucci – a little plain, but I can’t ever dislike any of her looks. 4

Kirsten Dunst in Chanel Haute Couture – She looks a lot like a blonde Leigh Lezark in this gown. This is perfect for her. 4.1

Ana Beatriz Barros in Versace. I LOVE THIS! The shoes, the accessories, the dress. It complete captures the Cannes vibe. 5!

Dree Hemingway in Valentino Couture. Not my favorite look only because I don’t think I could ever pull something like this off, but Dree definitely can. It’s a great updated version of the standard Herve Leger bandage dresses. Nice to see one model was able to represent at Cannes. 3.8

Naomi Campbell in L’Wren Scott. This look works for Naomi. In fact, I always imagine her in these kinds of gowns, but that’s mostly because I think she’s just the epitome of “ice queen” in this industry. 4.4 I like it.

Georgina Chapman in Marchesa. 4.8

Elizabeth Banks in Atelier Versace – Will just never be a fan of the fishtail gowns…I think that this look would have worked out better if she had at least let down her hair. This reminds me of Kate Gosselin for some reason.

Michelle Williams in Sonia Rykiel w/ Ferragamo shoes. I LOVE THIS! 5!

Diane Kruger in vintage Chanel. Diane can do no wrong. I wish that this would have either been an off shoulder or a halter and not both though. I would prefer the off shoulder, then I probably would have given this a 5. 4.

Kate Beckinsale in Armani Prive – 4.3

Mischa Barton in Marchesa. She’s comin’ back!! Work in progress but nonetheless it’s getting there. 3.8

Rachel Bilson in Chanel Haute Couture – simple yet not boring. 4.5

Karolina Kurkova in Marchesa. 2.8 mehhhh looks more like festival wear.

Julia Restoin- Roitfeld in Mark Fast. Oh how I wish this had been altered. The draping needs to go. 3.1
