Desigual presents a trade off

Retailer Desigual decided to test out their new marketing strategy yesterday by asking people to line up “nearly” naked outside of the store. Actually being naked would be a problem, but it’s cool – undergarments are chill. The first 100 people would receive free outfits and everyone else after that would get a 50% off coupon for their next purchase, which I’m assuming would have been that day because that would have taken the walk of a shame to a whole new level.

The crowd remained in positive spirits though shouting things like, “We’re getting naked!” I can’t imagine what everyone else must have been thinking before 10 AM on a weekday.

Would you guys ever do something like this? I have to hand it to the Desigual – not a bad strategy…
