The alternative bedroom: Your School’s library

When I was a freshman, college became one of the most overwhelming experiences I have ever had in my life. WHOAA I only have three classes? Sometimes my classes aren’t every day? I live next to my best friends? I thought that having less classes not on a daily basis would free up more time meaning I would have more time to see my friends and definitely more time to sleep. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Throughout my freshman year, my friend Kelly caught me sleeping at various times and decided to photograph me so that I would be able to enjoy it when I woke up.

Surprisingly, I never fell asleep in the library. There was, however, a time when I visited Kelly for 15 minutes and ended up taking a ten minute nap on her bed. How this ends up happening… I’ll never know. Even though I have been done with my finals for a little over a week, there are many students that are just now starting their breaks. Therefore, I’d like to dedicate this post to them: Buzzfeed’s 25 College Students Defeated By Finals Week and Tumblr’s Asians Sleeping in the Library -

They’re better at life and they get better grades than you for a reason.
