China’s Housing Cubes

The average size of a dorm room is 15×15. While I’m sure many of us used to dread  our student housing situations, I”m sure we haven’t imagined what it is like to downsize. The residents living in Shek Kip Mei Estate, a  public housing project in Hong Kong, call their 10×10 cube spaces home and seem to be content. You would think the residents would resent their so-called home, but instead photographer Michael Wolf has managed to capture all of them with a smile.
