Announced earlier this week, Neumos will be opening up their 200-capacity basement as a new venue space. The venue will be 21+ and will open on April 4th. Since the main venue will be right above the smaller space, some major sound proofing will be needed in order to keep the noise contained to their respective venues.
Well, it’s no new Neptune Theater like the University District got, but it is still pretty exciting nonetheless. A 200-space venue is slightly nerve wracking, but what a great space it might be for some secret shows that Seattle is known for.
