After some deliberation and the fact that Ash Wednesday actually happened…today, I decided early yesterday morning that I would give up saying the “f-word” during this period of time. It’s a horrid habit and a tribute to my parents. They didn’t raise their only daughter to be this way. So I’m quitting and hopefully ridding myself of this word for 40 days will extend longer than this period.
On another note, I’m not the only one that had this idea to give up swearing. Apparently, the Charity Swear Box turns your bad habit into something great! Every time you swear, you give a little bit of your money to a charity in need. Watch the vid above for a better explanation.
