Hello everyone!

I am thrilled to let you all know that I am back from my adventures and ready to start working for Yow Yow! again and keeping up with the news. This past week, I went on my first “business trip” and as you can imagine, for a new college graduate, this is a milestone! I had a wonderful time in Phoenix learning about the ins-and-outs of my industry, but I am so ready to get back to the office.

Remember how I tell you once a month that I love flying? Well, this was probably the worst flight experience I have ever had. Yes, I was definitely one of those people that had booked Alaska Air on Monday and boy, was it a mess. All the employees that I encountered that day – I know this wasn’t your fault. The system was down nationwide and 70 flights were cancelled. It was just unfortunate that this had to happen. Not being able to check in (which usually took me 2 minutes) for over an hour was frustrating, not to mention having to go to five different gates and of course on top of that – a 3hr delay. Welcome to life, right? It makes me grateful, however, that I don’t have to fly that often.

All-in-all, my first business trip was a success! The lady on my flight next to me on the way to Phoenix ordered me my first alcoholic drink on a flight. I ordered room service for the first time. I didn’t get In N’ Out and that will always be my biggest regret.
