I’m not sure when I started getting into the idea of DIY crafts. Believe it or not, I’ve never been a crafty kid or a DIY’er…but more so of “do it for me, please?” type of a kid. Here are a few reasons why I have come up with why crafts interest me these days:

• I’m not in college anymore
• I have the time
• I’ve got the space
• Personal satisfaction
• It’s the holidays

Free People threw up this tutorial DIY’er today on making a flameless fire pit and all I really want to do now is put it in the middle of my living room and roast faux marshmallows for imaginary s’mores. Haters gonna hate.
