Point Lauren Conrad

Some may say it’s a little silly for me to call Lauren Conrad a role model because she’s only four years older than me,  but I ain’t ashamed to say it. Lauren started out being a basic girl on Laguna Beach and look how far she has come. With a clothing line, beauty blog, and a couple books under her belt, she is accomplishing quite a lot for being just a 27-year old. Who wouldn’t want to have a career like that? She may not see herself as a role model for young girls – and that’s okay because she’s still young herself, but she has grown up to be one classy young lady. I just read news today that she bought a new house for herself, but that’s not what this post is about even though it’s amazing and I’ll never be able to afford something like this – this post is about these GIFs with her interview with Sway!

Lauren, you’re so funny.

  1. I ADORE Lauren! She’s so stylish & even though people on ONTD keep calling her style “basic” I think she always looks appropriate, chic and with a touch of vintage. Gotta love those red lips!

Confession: Actually caved & read her books and it’s actually not bad. Of course, it’s a smokescreen for “The Hill Expose” but still, a pretty good chick lit read.

On a side note, I miss The Hills. The City was not as good and The Hills wasn’t as fun after Lauren left. *there’s a void in my life*

I don’t think she’s basic at all in my opinion – she definitely has a classic effortless style. I’ve always wanted her books especially for my coffee table – maybe someday!
