“Girls’ Weekend” in San Francisco!

7

It isn’t often that I plan a vacation for myself. When I learned recently that my two friends Winny and Jennie were having a getaway to San Francisco this past weekend, I joined the trip last minute! We spent the weekend eating, shopping, exploring, and of course Instagramming our little hearts out. Growing up, I haven’t had too many opportunities to travel with my friends. The last time I did, it was also on a road trip to San Francisco. But it’s moments like these that I really treasure…being able to be an adult in another city. It was also Jennie’s first trip to SF so we were sure to hit all the spots! I feel really lucky to have traveled with these two ladies as they are not only dear friends of mine, but friends that I looked up to while in college. Click the cut for all of our adventures from start to finish.

I’ve written a couple posts about packing and I was quite proud of myself on the pack job I did for this trip. I stuck to basics – black and white, layers for the unforgiving wind in SF and my trusty Keds for walking all over the city. My travel bag (which is really Kevin’s) is the best thing I have never actually owned.

See ya Seattle!

I cannot thank Hotel Monaco by Kimpton enough for an incredible stay. The service was absolutely wonderful and now I can’t wait to decorate my future home like this hotel room.

4

I plan on recreating the bathroom for my own as well.

5

We started our morning early by catching a little bit of the San Francisco marathon at Golden Gate Park

6

When Winny was a kid, her Grandmother lived in the Sunset neighborhood so we stopped by to see her old house and Winny’s favorite Chinese bakery! They had my favorite Chocolate Croissants.

When in front of the Painted Ladies…jump!

On the way to the Full House house we brainstormed all of the hashtags we could think of

Brunch at The Brixton in Cow Hollow! Bellinis and Mimosas. We decided to stop for brunch at this cafe because it reminded us most of home in Capitol Hill

And my usual veggie scramble with hashbrowns

We can never get enough of the bridge and we’ll get it from every view point even in Presidio.

Because was there ever a question?

And lastly, I decided to have spring rolls for breakfast one morning at a restaurant in Lower Pacific Heights that I had been waiting to try! Thanks for the nomz Bun Mee!
