When we stopped by the Nordstrom Wedding Suite a few weeks ago back in Seattle, I was invited back the following weekend for the Marchesa Trunk Show that they were having. For quite some time, Marchesa has long been a brand that I have respected and admired. Their feminine pieces are not only gorgeous, but are worn by confident, sexy, and strong women. I could have dreamed of having a Marchesa wedding dress in my future so when they asked me if I wanted to return that weekend to try on some of the sample size gowns myself, my heart pretty much stopped.

However, I turned down the opportunity because I know what an experience trying on gowns is for brides-to-be and just because I had the opportunity in front of me, I wanted to make sure that when I did it, I knew who I was going to marry and I was completely in the right mindset for it.
