Glee To End Next Season

Next season will be the show’s last says the series’ cocreator Ryan Murphy. After 6 seasons, the show will finally end and while I’ve been a fan since the very beginning, I think that now is probably a good time to wrap it up. The television series has had an incredible run, one that included a spinoff (The Glee Project) that lasted for two seasons, but with Cory Monteith’s death, I’m sure it has affected the cast and crew like they never imagined.

“The final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around Rachel and Cory/Finn’s story,” he told reporters. “I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was – he was in it. I knew what the last line was – she said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so we’re figuring that out now.

There have been some fantastic moments in this show – some breakthroughs. I’m sad to see it go, but I’m accepting its end. I think Ryan Murphy is doing the right thing.
