5 Things: The Weekend

succulent

After my co-worker learned that I wouldn’t be able to receive my own succulent from the start-up I wrote about this past week, she graciously plucked me one from her own garden at home and mini-potted it for me. It fits in the palm of my hand is literally the same height as my wedding bride Lego. I mentioned in my post about The Sill that I wanted to be able to take care of something for myself and since I’m at work the most, it made the most sense to leave it there. However, I’m already failing because I forgot to put it by a windowsill before I left for the weekend so that it could get more sunlight. Womp Womp.

We had a surprise visitor on Friday. Patrick McDreamy Dempsey *swoon*

tin pot

I’m obsessed! I’ve officially had Tin Pot three times now in two weeks. We had a special delivery of Tin Pot on Friday at work and naturally, I couldn’t JUST have one flavor. I had to try 3 along with my usual favorite of Cinnamon Snickerdoodle. And…today Bree and I found ourselves there once again for dessert after lunch. I can’t get enough.

Henry and I have been making plans to go to Upcider since I practically moved here and while that was initially the plan last night, that didn’t end up happening. Luckily for us, the corner market also has cider!

And instead of having a night out on the town, Henry and I did a 360 on our plans twice to stay in and watch Monsters University and Frances Ha – pretty much a movie version of the HBO television series “Girls.”
