How I Found It: The reason why you haven’t seen a “Beauty for Breakfast” post in quite some time is mainly because when I find something I stick with it forever. There are some bloggers who try out new products frequently, but that just seems…expensive. Birchbox, I still love you! For Birchbox, I would change my ways. I had a moment the other day when I was on my way to work. Looking into my mirror, I noticed that I had done a pretty poor job of trying to cover up a blemish, but I was more than halfway to work and wasn’t going to turn back around to go home again. On a whim, I decided to pop in to the nearest Walgreens and within minutes found myself glazing over the COVERGIRL + Olay Concealer Balm. First off, every girl knows that buying drugstore beauty products is a gamble. You can’t try it out which is the biggest issue and when it comes to skin and making sure you get the shade correctly, a drugstore product is a huge risk! I was in a rush though and it was my only option so I ended up buying it. Luckily for me, it resulted positively, but never again. What I love about this product is that not only did I guess my shade correctly (that’s just a plus!) but it also doubles as both a cover-up and an under eye stick. For years, I have always had issues covering up the dark circles underneath my eyes no matter how much rest I try to give myself and this stick has managed to mask them pretty well!
