Proud Owner:

Looking for some new outfits or accessories to add to your wardrobe? Maybe a gift idea for a friend. Either way, here’s another edition of Proud Owner where I show off some of my picks.

Madewell Leather ID Bracelet

It took a vacay to San Diego for me to face a long-deserved shopping spree. I was a little bit nervous about how much I was spending down there in comparison to food, but it seemed to work out and I am still pretty content with all of my purchases and ultimately ended up being well-fed. But…more on that later! Anyone that knows me knows that I never wear jewelry other than the gold hoops in my ears that I never take out. Since I was in elementary, I have always had hairties on my wrist and that’s as far as accessorizing goes for me. Being with Ashley though, I was a little more inclined to try something new. I am in love with my new bracelet and since it’s black and gold, it’s easy to match with most of my outfits.

DV by Dolce Vita ‘Disco’ Sandal

I was swooning over a similar pair of sandals by DV by Dolce Vita last year too, but never had the chance to purchase them in my size since I had waited so late in the season. Since it’s only March and we got a head start, I was able to snatch up a pair right before the summer season. I love these sandals because they don’t look like ordinary flip flops. You can still wear these out and they can be dressed up a bit.

Maxi Skirt/Dress

Yes, petite girls CAN wear maxi skirts/dresses. Plenty of my friends tall and short have been flaunting maxis for ages and I’ve been terrified to follow through. But this Brandy Melville Adesuwa Maxi Skirt really has me tempted so I’m going to take the plunge… soon.

John Atencio Bracelets

I honestly didn’t know which to recommend since there are so many gorgeous items in the diamond tennis bracelet women’s collection. The solar beaded bracelets are nice and chunky and would be ideal if you want to bring attention to your wrists.

Brandy Melville Tops

You can never go wrong with a great basic Brandy Melville Sheron Top and Brandy Melville does them so well. I have a couple of white tees that are a little more fitted, but I wanted one that I could just throw on for any casual occasion that didn’t constrain me. The Brandy Melville Genevie Top is a little tight and it’s a little short, but it works well with the maxi skirt so that’s the sole reason why I purchased it.
