WHOO! We are celebrating a birthday today y’all! Can you believe we’re already six years old? I still remember the first day I even created an account with WordPress. It was my first winter break in college during my freshman year and back then I thought the only readership I would have would be my friends and the people that lived in my dorm. I’m sure, like most people that start a blog, I only saw this going until I found another new hobby to latch onto. Little did we know…

Six years though. Six years of content, culture, and really really big life changes that I never imagined this blog would document. It hasn’t been the easiest year for us and I know I haven’t spent as much time on Yow Yow! as I would’ve liked because of my job, but at the end of the day, I’m still so grateful to have the best support team in the world. I know that when my parents remind me to take a picture of my meal while eating out and when my girlfriends fill me in on the new places in Seattle to check out over brunch that they want me to keep going. So we’ll do just that!

Thank you all for all of the support and love over the last six years! Here’s to the next one! We’re really looking forward to what’s in store for 2015!!
