Day One Journal

Whenever we start a new year, I look forward to hearing everyone’s resolutions and seeing what kinds of projects people take on for themselves. I mean, that actually used to be me with Yow Yow! The year before Yow Yow! we had 366 days in the year and I had a camera that I took with me absolutely everywhere. We called it Project 366. A picture a day to capture the end of my high school senior year and the beginning of my college freshman year. It was a lot of work… but when I look back on it? So worth it. Every day was documented and I never missed one. When you take on a project like that, you’re pretty much winning the New Year’s Resolution game.

Since the year has already started, I don’t think I can take on another project right now, but I was really drawn to Day One Journal. I find writing to be a great outlet and therapeutic – I know so because we’ve just been doing this thing for the last six years. I really hope that someone I know takes this on. What a great way to snapshot some of your quick thoughts and even share to social media if you so choose.
