It’s always pretty exciting when a designer you recognize dives into something a little bit different than the norm. Whether it’s a capsule collection, Target collaboration, etc. as consumers we like to be in the know for what our favorite designers are planning next. By now, Alexander Wang has become a household name. Of course his collections are ones to be admired, but who could ever forget his darling little niece?! Aside from those two things, he has now decided to venture into home decor and summer accessories and if you didn’t know his name was tied to it in the first place, the collection literally SCREAMS Alexander Wang.
Everything is in signature Wang black.
Check out the rest of the collection here.

We’ve been waiting all week for the final confirmation and here it is courtesy of WWD.

Can I have this outfit? Can I have this hair style? I once tried the straight-across bangs look for a week before I switched back to the side bangs, but a certain someone recently suggested I try straight-across again… hmmmmm… I’d say yes if only I were guaranteed to look exactly like Naomi.

So we’re a little overdue for a recap post on the CFDA Fashion Awards, but I didn’t want to go on without making a post about it. Every year some of the greatest designers are highlighted along with the best in fashion and some of the most beautiful gowns. Enjoy!

She’s Alexander Wang’s niece and she is the most adorable little girl ever! Lucky her – getting to tag along with Uncle Alex to fashion week for two seasons now. This outfit is fierce to the max. Can’t wait to see what she bring out for the Fall 2012 RTW show.

CFDA designers Alexander Wang, Billy Reid and Sophie Theallet have recently collaborated with Starbucks to create a line of “fashion-forward” tees for their 40th birthday celebration. I never would have penned the company to dip their feet in the fashion world, but I actually find the collaboration to be kind of cool. One tee in the collection is designed to look as if you have spilled a cup of coffee on yourself and will be sold for $85 both in stores and online. For free, you could spill your own coffee on yourself and get the same look. Would you pay $85 for this t-shirt?

There was an unbelievable amount of love for Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney at this year’s 2011 Met Ball. I think out of all the Met Ball’s I have seen, this one has provided the most looks that I have fallen in love with. Well done everyone.
This year’s theme was in tribute to the late designer Alexander McQueen as the museum debuted a new exhibition in his name. Since there were so many attendees this year, I decided to post only my favorite looks (and a few others) – don’t worry, it’s still pretty image heavy!
Where was Camilla Belle this year?
