When this song first came out, it was all I remembered listening to. Gia Coppola recently directed the music video for the single and it is everything I’ve ever dreamed of – completely retro, amazing choreography, and in complete Coppola style. I know you know what I’m talking about.
It’s 80s and no, I didn’t live through it, but I can appreciate it.

Blood Orange – Champagne Coast
This song is off of the Palo Alto soundtrack and while I didn’t love it at first, it has definitely grown on me. Has anyone seen the film yet? It’s the next one to check off on my list.

Favorite Style Icon: Alexa Chung
This should really come as no surprise. Since Alexa Chung came into my life, I have always been a fan of her outfit choices. I noticed last year, I selected Taylor Swift, but really – Alexa blew her and everyone else out of the water in 2013. With her new book that we are dying to read and collections of hers popping up all over the place, we are looking forward to what she’ll be bringing to the table in 2014.

Blood Orange – Chamakay
The best way for me to learn about a new album is to throw it into my playlist and continue to let it run on shuffle so that when I do come across a song that I haven’t heard of before, I immediately have to check out the artist/band and its title. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the new Blood Orange album since I got it, but maybe I shouldn’t say that. I wasn’t really “pleasantly surprised” because I’ve been impressed with their previous album and other singles. Blood Orange. Get it. Listen to it. You’ll be glad you did.
