Chanel’s Denim-Inspired Nail Polish
On September 8th, Chanel will release their new collection of nail polishes called Les Jeans de Chanel inspired by some of your favorite denim washes. I’m not someone that maintains my nails often, but I am a huge fan of these colors. The collection can be found online at their website and at Chanel boutiques beginning September 8th and lasting through the end of the month. Once October hits, this collection will be gone forever though so make sure you make a note on your calendar for the release.

There was an unbelievable amount of love for Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney at this year’s 2011 Met Ball. I think out of all the Met Ball’s I have seen, this one has provided the most looks that I have fallen in love with. Well done everyone.
This year’s theme was in tribute to the late designer Alexander McQueen as the museum debuted a new exhibition in his name. Since there were so many attendees this year, I decided to post only my favorite looks (and a few others) – don’t worry, it’s still pretty image heavy!

Leighton Meester for Missoni
Leighton Meester’s first photo from Missoni’s spring campaign have just been released and they are too cute. This doesn’t mean that she has won the battle for campaigns just yet though. That decision won’t be made until we get a peak at her Gossip Girl co-star Blake Lively’s Chanel campaign.
The campaign was inspired by the cover of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
This fantastic shoot was done by one of my favorite photographers Juergen Teller. He is also responsible for all of the quirky Marc Jacobs ad campaigns as well.

Above Leigh is wearing Narcisco Rodriguez during Fashion Week. I actually don’t know too much about her except that I’ve never heard her speak in an interview, but she has great style and used to be a model. These days, she can be found DJ’ing in New York with trio The Misshapes.
Blake Lively is the new face of Chanel
Blake Lively will be the new face for Chanel. Are we surprised? Lately, we’ve seen her donning beautiful Chanel gowns on the red carpet and in photos alongside Karl Lagerfeld; it was just a matter of time. However, I am still a little surprised that she is sans stylist. Typically her looks flip flop back and forth and she manages to come up with hit or misses on a consistent basis. While she has been doing a good job lately, I can’t say the same for some of her outfits months ago or even last year.
Blake was recently in Paris shooting new ad campaigns for the fashion house set to be released sometime early next year.
