Chicago Will Be Home To Largest Starbucks

In a world in which you would believe Seattle would be the clear winner, it actually isn’t! Prior to Chicago now taking over with the largest Starbucks, that title used to belong to Tokyo. This November, the Chicago Starbucks will move into the 4-story 43,000 square foot store front that used to belong to a former Crate & Barrel. Like other Starbucks locations that you have known to grow and love, it will feature an array of teas, coffees, and cafe food selections. I’m really unclear on how it needs to be 4-stories, but I’m curious to see how the space will be used.

Outdoor Voices’ Latest Chicago Store

We’re not so into fitness yet that we can shop at these trendy name brand stores, but store concepts are something I’ve always been fascinated by. When Hayes Valley opened up their Outdoor Voices location, I went mainly just to check out what the store looked like. At the time, I wasn’t working out regularly so shopping there didn’t make sense.

Their new Chicago store reminds me of the gym class I wish I went to every day in high school. Maybe if the locker rooms looked like this, I would enjoy this period more. How cute are these lockers though? This is Outdoor Voices’ 10th location and will feature a variety of their collection all in your favorite pastel colors.

Lollapalooza 2016

Every year Coachella’s the first to come out with their lineup and everyone loses their minds over it, but really – the best lineup I feel like always comes from Lollapalooza. This is just phenomenal.

Pitchfork 2016

This lineup poster is really deceiving because Miguel and Sufjan Stevens are near the bottom when they should clearly be a little closer to the top. Turns out, it’s just in alphabetical order. Way to step outside of the box this year and do what no other music festival lineups ever do.

Lollapalooza 2015 Street Style

I was invited by a friend to go to Lollapalooza this year using an artist wristband for Tove Lo and it was the best invitation I had ever gotten. Festivals like Lollapalooza cost hundreds of dollars to attend when you include the ticket, the flights to Chicago, and the accommodations. I had never been to Chicago before and I was so excited to go until I realized I had a work event the same weekend. It was the biggest let down, but this was the closest I’d ever gotten to something like this and I don’t doubt that it won’t happen again. Maybe the next invitation will be even better! Street style at music festivals is one of my favorite things to cover because it’s not just about what you wear to the event, it’s about being comfortable and wearing something that is somewhat functional. Here’s how these attendees did Lollapalooza this past weekend and they’re basically nailing it:
