Favorite Style Icon: Taylor Swift
T. Swift has seriously stepped her game in 2012. Yes, she’s still sticking to the neutral colored dresses – but hey! That’s okay. It works for her. Taylor Swift is really just doing all the right things when it comes to her style these days and it helps that there are a handful of fabulous designers throwing their pieces at her. It’s awesome. I, of course, am jealous.

Last month, I discovered an amazing and talented musician named Clara C on a music streaming site called Thesixtyone and ever since then, I’ve been a huge fan of hers. I even did a special music spotlight for her not too long ago on Yow Yow! Who could forget her awesome stop motion music video for The Camel Song? Tonight Clara C is in Seattle and performing at Neumos in Capitol Hill alongside New Heights, Kenny Choi (Daphne Loves Derby) and Jennifer Chung.

Music Spotlight: Clara C
Good morning readers! It looks like today is going to be somewhat of a music-themed day – not that I have any problem with that at all. My brother’s gonna be upsest with me once he sees this post because apparently he’s been telling me about Clara C for months now (so he claims) and now I’m jumping on the bandwagon a little too late. Whatever bro – these things take time alright? I can’t explain why I have to discover new music on my own, but I just do.
First off, can we talk about how sweet this stop-motion video is?! How cute! Secondly, I heard about Clara C earlier in the week when I was hunting down new music at thesixtyone, which is a type of music streaming site similar to my favorite We Are Hunted. I heard one song - Groovesharked the rest of the album and now it is all I listen to. Hopefully you’ll all love it as much as I do.
