Craft Spells – Scandinavian Crush

I can’t believe this is the first time I’m featuring a song by Craft Spells on Yow Yow! I came to terms last night that I would not be attending any Seattle music festivals this year and while that broke my heart, I knew that I still had Outside Lands and Treasure Island in San Francisco to look forward to. I remember seeing Craft Spells for the first time at Bumbershoot a couple of years ago and thought they were so amazing and so fun to listen to. I’m very excited to be sharing this song with you today even if it is 3 years old!

Out on the Town: 7/28

I know we’re quite a few weeks away from this event, but hey – let me just say that Starbucks puts on some damn good shows. I have been impressed with their KEXP collaboration concert series Little Big Show this year because not only are they featuring up-and-coming acts, but they are also highlighting some of Seattle’s most talented!

Dum Dum Girls? C’mon, you know it’s going to be an awesome show. And Craft Spells – seeing them at Bumbershoot last year was one of the best performances I caught all year. For only $15, I’d say that’s a steal.
