Danity Kane Tries To Make Yet Another Comeback

I just read an article that said that Danity Kane was about to have another comeback and while that news doesn’t speak to me that much, I ended up getting nostalgic for old Danity Kane. The girl group had such a great run. They were talented. They put out bops. And they had an incredible friendship growing up in front of the camera. Everything was good until it wasn’t. Don’t we say that about everything though? The comeback will only consist of Aubrey’s new face, Shannon, and Dawn so unfortunately, it’s not quite the same.

While we wait for the comeback, I just want to post videos from their earlier (best!) days instead.

Diddy Dirty Money

Did anyone else catch last night’s performance of Diddy Dirty Money on Saturday Night Live?

Was it just me or did something(s) just seem off?

1) Really? Another name change?

2) The whole performance was a mixture of a Kanye West performance and trying too hard.

3) Dawn Richards, former member of Danity Kane, is now singing in this group with Diddy.

4) Singers Dawn Richards and Kalenna Harper stole VV Brown’s hairstyle!

There was something so bland about these two performances given last night. Maybe Diddy’s getting too old for this – I don’t know. I’m sure he wouldn’t agree, but he was looking awfully tired throughout the whole thing. The new album comes out December 14th – maybe that will change my mind.

The Aubrey O’Day Project

As strange as this may sound, I’m not all that embarrassed to admit that I used to love watching Making the Band w/ Danity Kane. Aubrey and Aundrea became fast favorites for me on the show. It’s funny how things have changed and Aubrey did a complete 360 in everything. She was no longer about her vocals and her talent, but her appearance. We haven’t seen much of her in the spotlight lately, but I hear that Oxygen has picked up her new show The Aubrey O’Day Project, which will follow her as she attempts to return to the music industry.

I really miss the old Aubrey O’Day. Can’t we just go back?

“No one understands it more…”

I came across Danity Kane – Damaged tonight

Yeah… that song is kind of old now. In fact, probably the last time I heard it was when I was dancing to it on top of the speaker at Fall Ball. I said to Michael, “I’m actually really sad that Danity Kane broke up.” There were probably only three songs that I liked off of both of their albums combined but what I loved most was Aubrey and Aundrea on Making the Band together and their little friendship. It was my favorite part of watching !

Then Aubrey went crazy always making out w/ her dog in photos, posing for Playboy and dressing unclassily. It’s too bad Danity Kane is no more but I’m even more sad for Auburella… and the fact that those two aren’t friends anymore.

Anyways, this video will always be my favorite.
