I will admit I had my doubts about this film. In my eyes, I thought that nothing could compare to the television movie version that aired on ABC on a yearly basis while I was growing up. It actually was a pretty horrendous version, but it was all I had at the time. The trailer for this film seems very intense and when you’ve got big names like Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Darren Aronofsky, and Emma Watson in it, then you just know it’s going to be good. I’d also like to mention that Emma Watson and Logan Lerman are cast in this film – hello Perks of Being a Wallflower reunion.

Darren Aronofsky’s Meth Project

Oh shoot… late night posts on Yow Yow! are getting REAL these days. Director Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan) has just released four horrifying anti-meth PSA’s. If you get a little queasy easily, you might want to continue to scroll down past this post. I don’t know the demographics of my readers – I’d like to hope that you all aren’t meth heads – but watching these will never make you curious about the drug ever again, I’m sure.

Rodarte Designs for The Black Swan

Here is a sneak peak of one of the designs on Natalie Portman in the new ballet thriller The Black Swan. Sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy have designed all of the costumes featured in the new film by Darren Aronofsky. This is the first time they have ever designed costumes for film and already this first picture is making me excited to see the rest of what is to come!
