Even though I don’t own many pieces from these types of collaborations between high end fashion brands and fast fashion, it’s something that I fully support. Way back when, it wasn’t just prices that deterred people from shopping bigger brands. Often times, it was about accessibility. In some cases, local malls weren’t housing these brands and online shopping wasn’t always a thing. The collaborations were created as a way to bridge several gaps. In the latest one, Elizabeth and James paired up with Kohl’s for a line of apparel, shoes, and accessories slated for March 13th. Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the collection:

Taylor Swift in Maria Lucia Hohan
The girl certainly knows what works. She generally is drawn towards similar gowns that are flowy and neutral colored for most award shows, but it always seems to work!

Whoaaa sorry y’all! I really dropped the ball on this one in not publishing it before the new month, but I’m blaming it on the whole Leap Day thing.
The Row Prepares to Expand
WWD reported this morning that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen of The Row have hired François Kress as the brand’s President and Chief Operating Officer. Kress is currently the President and CEO over at Prada USA Corp. The 25-year-old sisters are definitely taking steps in the right direction to expand The Row into a major luxuary brand by working with Kress and creating this new position for him within their company.
Along with The Row, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are also responsible for their fashion company Elizabeth and James and affordable line Olsenboye. The Row has produced some truly exquisite pieces in the last couple of seasons including their sleek floor length dresses and upscale basics. This news makes me excited to see what direction they are headed for next alongside Kress.

Time to Fall in Love with Another Wedding
I don’t think I could ever get tired of looking at other couples’ wedding photos. Your wedding is supposed to be one of the best days of your life and I always find myself in awe of the creativity and sentiment behind each and every little detail. Katie and Nate are no exception. I’ve never met them before in my life or anything, but I thought that I would share some of their beautiful photos with you because they’ve got some quirky little things that I would have loved if I had been a guest myself. Here’s hoping that my best friends have fun weddings that I can enjoy myself at!
The golden feathers strung along the ceiling are such a nice and subtle touch to the event.

I Like Your Style…
Lauren Conrad!
I have always admired Lauren’s effortless and no-fuss cool California style. We watched her grow up in basics on Laguna Beach wearing plain denim jeans with C&C tanks. We witnessed her on the red carpet wearing questionable dresses. Now, Lauren having retired that style and her old nickname LC, has perfected a polished look and has turned pro in being a leading trendsetter today.
