Ellen let slip today that Finding Nemo was getting its sequel FINALLY! Finding Dory – will take place one year after Finding Nemo happened and will include all of your favorite characters from before. Ellen revealed the news in a tweet which was later on followed by Disney’s press release.
What Ellen had to say:
“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” Ellen said in the statement. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating Toy Story 16. But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”
Can’t wait! Finding Nemo was one of my absolute favorites.

Modern Family’s Julie Bowen was one of my absolute favorites last night! I was loving all of the yellow gowns, but this neon one just pops against the red carpet. The actress is wearing Monique Lhuillier.

By now, I’m sure all of you have heard about the tragic story of one college student from Rutgers. I don’t want to spend too much time on this post, but I felt like even I needed to address it. All I ask is that you just listen.
We spend too much time talking – talking about things we don’t know about – talking and not understanding, but now it’s time to listen. Think before you speak and think even longer before you act. I know that I’m not the only one here that feels tired and even drained by hearing about these stories. As teenagers, we are all still trying to figure out who we are and exploring our personal identity. For others to become a barrier between that is wrong.
Everyday 14 teenagers will take their lives.
Remember that everyone needs a little support here and there and the more you give the better off we will be. We don’t have to let this happen anymore.
Can you believe that American Idol is already going into their 10th season? I had no idea that the show had been running for so long, but then you remember all of the contestants that have been impacted by the show – Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, etc. In its 10th season, the show is about to undergo some major changes, the first being a new lineup of judges. We have lost Ellen DeGeneres after one season, Kara DiGuardio after two, and Simon Cowell who has been with us from the start. Randy Jackson will still be at the judge’s table along with newbies Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez [who will be earning $12 million for her contract with the show.] American Idol has always been searching for “the next big superstar” so they are making sure they have all of their bases covered by lowering the age to audition to age 15. You never know how many Justin Bieber’s could be out there.
This year, American Idol also plans to allow auditions to be recorded and posted on MySpace. [I see we're trying to bring this one back again.] From now until October 6th, contestants will be able to post a 40-second video of their audition, but are limited to just one audition video per contestant. They will be judged just like on American Idol and then receive callbacks to Los Angeles if chosen. If they are judged just like they are on American Idol, does that mean the judges will give criticism via…MySpace comments?!

Weezer’s new album Hurley will be released on September 14, 2010. The picture above of Hurley from LOST is actually the album cover. How fitting! Rivers Cuomo says of the image, “I just loved this photo of Jorge Garcia — it just had this amazing vibe. We didn’t want to do a fourth self-titled record and we knew people would refer to it as ‘the Hurley record’ even if left it without that title, so we just called it ‘Hurley.’ No words are on the cover because all we wanted was his amazing face.” [source]
