Lea Michele in Zimmermann – those shoes!
It was only recently that I learned about Elkin and it was through Emma Roberts’ Instagram that I started to become more and more intrigued with the line. The minimalistic pieces all in neutral hues – it is my dream closet. So it’s really no surprise that Elkin released their latest campaign featuring the young actress and of course, we love it and want everything!
Anyone that knows me knows that I rarely do anything on a week night. I was somehow convinced this past Thursday to see The Grand Budapest Hotel at Kabuki in Japantown for a 9:55 PM showtime and I didn’t hate it. Since I loved Moonrise Kingdom so much, I was pretty sure that I was going to enjoy this Wes Anderson film as well. I did, however, fall asleep for maybe 10 minutes, but other than that the move was great!
During brunch, you’ll almost always see me ordering an omelette or a scramble. Yesterday, I had a huge craving for something sweet at brunch at Country Way in Fremont and couldn’t say no to the Strawberry French Toast. How do people eat this much food?!
After much deliberation, I finally caved and decided to chop off all of my hair using Emma Roberts’ latest style as my inspiration.
Our Henry turned 23 yesterday at the Sundog Balloon!
Twice in one weekend.
If I’m not mistaken, I think this is the film where Emma Roberts and Evan Peters first met on the set, but I could be wrong. After watching Emma portray this darker character on American Horror Story, it’s a little bit difficult to believe her as the flighty manic pixie dream girl in Adult World. I’m not really sure if it’s convincing or even interesting watching a struggling poet work in an adult bookstore. I suppose I just had higher expectations for the film especially when I first heard about it, but I don’t feel the same way anymore.

Happy Monday readers! Yesterday brought out some of the best in red carpet wear and along with that…some of the worse. We’re kicking off this red carpet post, however, with the best hosts this show has ever seen. Luckily for us, we get them for another year!
I am so excited that the trailer for this movie was released because after watching it last night, I couldn’t wait to share it with you all. Palo Alto is the directorial debut of Gia Coppola – niece of Sofia Coppola and stars Emma Roberts and James Franco. The film is based on a collection of short stories about suburban teens penned by James Franco. The film is hitting some major film festivals in the next coming weeks, but we hope we have a chance to watch it in the US as well. I love the atmosphere that has been created for it and of course – talent runs in the family so we have high hopes for Gia!
Earlier this week, Emma Roberts made headlines when TMZ broke the news that she had been arrested due to domestic violence…beating up her 26-year old boyfriend Evan Peters. It was surprising to say the least because that’s a side we never imagined the actress to have. I’ve been a fan of Emma’s ever since her Nickelodeon days on “Unfabulous,” but it must be hard to keep up this act of being a sweet former teenage actor and niece of Julia Roberts.
We hope things get better for you Emma. Please don’t turn into Amanda Bynes. I read reports that you and your boyfriend just have a passionate relationship and stuff so … just keep your fists to yourself.
Other than that, we love her photoshoot for Nylon’s latest denim issue and her interview with the magazine.
Every time I see Jennifer Aniston in a movie, I’m usually 50/50. However, I am excited that Emma Roberts is playing a homeless teen in this new film.
Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, Emma Roberts, Will Poulter, Kathryn Hahn, Nick Offerman, and Ed Helms. Sudeikis plays a pot dealer who hires a stripper (Aniston), a homeless teenager (Roberts), and his geeky neighbor (Poulter) to pose as his family in order to smuggle a large amount of weed across the Mexican border. We’re The Millers, directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story), opens in US theatres on August 9.
This redband trailer is NSFW – also the last part of this trailer just MAKES it.
It’s the biggest night in fashion of the year and for the past four years, we have been covering the annual Met Gala. This year’s theme was Punk: Chaos to Couture and the celebrities did it well. Here – Dakota Fanning looks phenomenal in Rodarte.
