Would You Rock It?

photo cred | High Snobette

High end fashion is something that can be universally desired. It represents wealth – that much has never changed. It also showcases to the rest of the world how trendy you are. Every season, I watch countless looks on the runways (via Style.com) of course and I can’t help, but ask myself 87% of the time “Is it wearable?” Most of the time it’s not. You wouldn’t wear anything by…Jeremy Scott on the runway, would you? There is no doubting that the fashion industry can be very bizarre sometimes, but it’s a love hate relationship. You want this. So would you rock this Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 Lego shaped handbag? It doesn’t look comfy and soft like the rest of my handbags. It’s bright green. And it’s a clutch? Is it plastic?

Weekend Wedding Snapshot

photo cred: Highsnobette

My wedding obsession has gone into full force. Instead of perusing Style Me Pretty every once in awhile, I have decided to take a few peaks at it throughout my days. I’ve been off the blogging radar for quite a few days this week due to traveling/vacation, but while playing catch up, I did come across this photograph from High Snobette of the lovely Leandra Medine in her wedding gown by Marchesa. Medine is the writer behind the popular fashion blog – Man Repeller. Gorgeous, right? Also – just downright badass.

In Places I Would Like To Live In Today

Even though I have never stepped foot into this city, there is something that I find extremely charming about the homes in New York City. On the verge of graduation, it seems a little unrealistic for a poor college student like me to pick up and move right away, but someday I hope I can call a place like this my home – at least for a little while.

This brownstone found in Brooklyn is catching some buzz because it is only 12ft wide. After taking a look at the pictures, the size of the width doesn’t even seem to look like as small as it really is. Much of the interior was designed and placed strategically in order to maximize space.

Here are some of my favorite shots of the interior below:

Diva Pumps For the Lovely Miss Piggy

I’m probably the only 21-year old to ever admit this, but I really want to see the new Muppets movie. When I was a little kid, I loved all of the characters. Maybe this isn’t news to anyone though since I mentioned a couple weeks ago how much I still loved Elmo. There are some things that you grow out of, but there are others that will stick with you and the Muppets are really not something to be ashamed of.

Designer Jerome C. Rousseau designed these beautiful “Diva” pink pumps to honor the BIGGEST diva of all time – at least to the children of the world anyways. Even though I’ve outgrown my girly girl ways, I still believe that every girl needs to own either a pair of pink pumps or a pair of sparkly pumps. Personally, I’d like to own pumps in every color – but that’s just me.

Yow Yow’s Yearly Recap

Since tomorrow is New Year’s Eve, I will not be posting very much if I end up posting at all. This blog is about to turn two years old already! I can’t believe it. Sephora Partners Up With Hello Kitty

Slated to release mid-January, Sephora’s new collaboration with Hello Kitty will include make-up, brushes, fragrance, mirrors, blotter paper, and a cute little shower cap. I am loving the look of this collection because it seems more subtle than the MAC x Hello Kitty collaboration that was released two years ago.

For more pictures on the items that will be included in this collection, click here for full coverage from High Snobette.
