Hillary (trailer) – Hulu

The 2016 campaign seems like ages ago. Can you believe that we made it through nearly all of Trump’s term? I can’t. In this new documentary by Hulu, we get to see an exclusive interview with Hillary herself, but also some behind the scenes of her campaign that were never shown. I never thought of Hulu as being the place where I’d want to watch more documentaries from, but I’m slightly curious about it since the whole Fyre Festival thing of last year. Readers, will you be watching this?

Cover of the Day:

This New Yorker cover full of Hillary-themed emojis was too adorable to not post. They’re not as cute as the North West set, but we’d still be pretty happy with this anyways. Designed by artist Barry Blitt, these 30 emojis were designed to model off of some of our favorite emojis currently and some looks that she is known for. My favorite? HOBviously the one with her sunglasses.

Hillary Clinton For President in 2016?

Could it be? Is America ready for a woman to become President? We just might be! Word on the street is that Hillary Clinton is thinking about running in 2016 and she’s already rounding up her troop of supporters – first with Oscar de la Renta and now Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour. Oscar de la Renta announced his bid for her candidacy at the recent CFDA awards while Wintour expressed her praise for Clinton yesterday evening at the opening of the Oscar de la Renta retrospective.

Wintour first praised Clinton for “always look[ing] entirely appropriate wherever she was”–quite the about face from the Vogue editor considering that in her February 2008 editor’s letter she wrote, “I do think Americans have moved on from the power-suit mentality, which served as a bridge for a generation of women to reach boardrooms filled with men”–and went on to not-so-subtly hint at a Clinton presidency. “It’s anyone’s guess what the next chapter will be for this extraordinary woman,” Wintour told the crowd. “I can only hope that all of you here in Little Rock will be celebrating her come November 2016.”

Texts From Hillary Team Gracefully Bow Out

While Tumblrs and websites dedicated to specific memes are still pretty funny, there comes a point in time when the funny just becomes a whole lot less. Texts From Hillary skyrocketed when the Tumblr debuted last week reaching viral status, but now the two creators, Adam Smith and Stacy Lambe have decided to make their exit and quit while they are still ahead.

“After a week that included 32 posts, 83,000 shares on Facebook, 8,400 Twitter followers, over 45K Tumblr followers, news stories around the world, Renee Montagne from Morning Edition saying ‘ROFL,’ a Maureen Dowd column, and a tweet from ?uest Love, we think it’s time to stop while we are ahead,” they write by way of explanation. “As far as memes go – it has gone as far as it can go. Is it really possible to top a submission from the Secretary herself? No. But then when you get to text with her in real life – it’s just over. At least for us. But we have no doubt it will live on with all of you on the Internet.”

This reminds me of when @Condeelevator still existed and to this day, I still miss it terribly.

Texts From Hillary

I’ve been trying to avoid this Tumblr all week convincing myself that it wasn’t going to be as hilarious as everyone said it was.

I was wrong. It is.
