Kerry Washington in Prada
I may have missed the entire show from being at work and out to dinner, but we’d never miss a chance of covering the red carpet.
I can’t believe it’s time already for the most fashionable night of the year! It’s crazy to think that a year has already gone by. I feel like I was making the 2013 post just last month. This year’s theme is White Tie and Decorations.
Of course we’re kicking things off with Queen Bey and Jay.
Beyonce and Jay-Z both in Givenchy Haute Couture
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture
YES, this is the dress that I would have loved to see Jennifer in at the Golden Globes, but better late than never. We all know that Jennifer is partial to Dior so it’s a no-brainer, but the slim fit and dark color is doing wonders for her on the red carpet. We’re pretty happy with this pick.
When the finale for the second season of Homeland aired, I felt like it would be an eternity until the show returned back to my television. Now, it seems like we’re so close to it! Claire Danes has been an icon on the red carpet ever since Homeland made its debut and has received high marks for all of her gowns. I guess it doesn’t hurt that she’s got her eye candy of a husband Hugh Dancy on her arm.
In Vogue’s latest issue, Claire Danes is stunning in this Homeland themed spread.
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture
Everyone kind of knew she’d be wearing Dior since she’s the new face and all, but no one expected her to look this flawless. The cinched belt at the waistline completes this look.
Modern Family’s Julie Bowen was one of my absolute favorites last night! I was loving all of the yellow gowns, but this neon one just pops against the red carpet. The actress is wearing Monique Lhuillier.
Emma Stone in Lanvin w/ the designer himself Alber Elbaz. How darling is Emma!
The most important evening of the year in the world of fashion.

François-Henri Pinault with Salma Hayek both in Alexander McQueen
There was an unbelievable amount of love for Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney at this year’s 2011 Met Ball. I think out of all the Met Ball’s I have seen, this one has provided the most looks that I have fallen in love with. Well done everyone.
This year’s theme was in tribute to the late designer Alexander McQueen as the museum debuted a new exhibition in his name. Since there were so many attendees this year, I decided to post only my favorite looks (and a few others) – don’t worry, it’s still pretty image heavy!
Where was Camilla Belle this year?
Natalie Portman in Azzaro
There really aren’t enough white dresses on the red carpet ever. This is perfection.
Olivia Wilde in Marchesa
Chocolate brown and gold sequins are the perfect combination for this Golden Globe gown. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Olivia look this good! I also loved that she wore her hair down with her bangs since we are typically used to seeing it done up.
