I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to be the worst dressed at the Oscars these days because just about everyone has a stylist. I can’t say anything bad about the gowns worn this year, but obviously there are some I like more than others.

Chocolate brown and gold sequins are the perfect combination for this Golden Globe gown. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Olivia look this good! I also loved that she wore her hair down with her bangs since we are typically used to seeing it done up.

Not only will the Oscars be hosted by two of the most beautiful and talented celebrities in the industry right now, Anne Hathaway and James Franco, the musical performances will be done by the PS22 Chorus. The little kids with big voices have been known to cover MGMT, Phoenix, Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind, and many other artists. To let them know that they would be performing at the award show, Anne Hathaway surprised the children at their winter concert to announce the great news.

Every night, I try to watch a round-up of late night television shows: Leno, Kimmel, Fallon, and Carson Daly. At some point, I will work in Conan into this schedule. I typically switch the channels depending on who is a guest that evening or performing.
I picked a good night to witness a very shy, but oh-so-adorable James Franco on Jimmy Kimmel tonight.

Actor James Franco recently showed up 20 minutes late to his red carpet premiere of his new film 127 Hours because he refused to miss one of his classes at Yale University. Franco is currently pursuing his Ph. D in English and prioritized his class above the premiere leaving it to take the back seat.
If James Franco won’t miss a class for a movie premiere then I have no reason to miss any of mine. Done. Lesson learned.
