Favorite Style Icon: Alexa Chung
This should really come as no surprise. Since Alexa Chung came into my life, I have always been a fan of her outfit choices. I noticed last year, I selected Taylor Swift, but really – Alexa blew her and everyone else out of the water in 2013. With her new book that we are dying to read and collections of hers popping up all over the place, we are looking forward to what she’ll be bringing to the table in 2014.

Instead of performing a crowd favorite for her encore during a show at Southside Music Hall in Dallas, Jessie Ware took this opportunity to share with her fans a new heart-wrenching ballad called “True Believer.” Her vocals on this are amazing. I can’t wait to hear the recorded version of this. Also – readers – are any of you going to be seeing her on tour this year? She’s playing on a Monday up in San Francisco when she tours and that’s a little bit rough, but I can’t imagine missing out on her again.

Jessie Ware Announces Fall North American Tour
If there is one album that I have been loving on all year long in 2013, it is hands down Jessie Ware. What an introduction, right?! With singles that stick in your head for weeks on end and a bright personality to match, Jessie Ware is everyone’s favorite this year. I am thrilled to hear that she has just announced her North American fall tour and if you’re smart, you won’t miss it. She’s making a lot of stops, but c’mon don’t be that guy or that girl that is the last to learn about Jessie. That’s just embarrassing. #musicsnob
