Wedding Mondays

It has been awhile since we’ve had a true Wedding Mondays post so today that’s what you’re getting. Swamped by work for these past few weeks, I’ve been playing catch up just getting through all of the weddings that I have missed. After I write this post I need to go back three weeks on Green Wedding Shoes to make sure I’m all caught up! Today’s post is really special because you not only get one video, but you get three! When I first read about this wedding on Style Me Pretty, they were highlighting a choreographed dance that the couple’s friends performed for them at their wedding and that they were a part of. In my head, I think I went – “oh boy, another poorly done choreographed dance from a couple that took maybe 5 weeks of a class for this.” Style Me Pretty teased the video by saying that things were about to get really good, but I didn’t believe it. Until I watched it. And thought it was so good that I had to watch it 3 more times after that.

It really is THAT good. So we’ve got three videos to document Connie and Tyler’s wedding – the choreographed dance, the proposal, and then the wedding  film. I watched it in that order and it was the correct order to watch in order to fall in love with this couple more and more.

History of Rap Pt. 5

It’s been a long week, y’all. I was about to call it quits 30 minutes ago and head to bed, but then I was reminded that Justin Timberlake would be a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon tonight. For those two, of course, I would stay up past 11:30 PM. After all, I don’t want to miss out on what could be an appearance of “History of Rap.” This wasn’t confirmed until now. You guys, I found the video. Here it is before it even airs on the West Coast. I’ve watched it and now I can sleep happily.

Happy Friday. Happy Weekend. Happy Justin Timberlake!

Justin Timberlake x GQ Magazine

He’s GQ’s man of the year, but are we surprised? He released two albums and collaborated with Jay-Z for pretty much the entire year and as of 2012 was officially a taken man. We’ve loved Justin since his NSYNC days and probably will continue to feel the same way about him with every project. A part of me just hopes he’ll take a break from music one year and  take up a regular gig on Saturday Night Live.

Song of the Day

Justin Timberlake – Senorita

I think it’s safe to say that this is the year of Justin Timberlake. Since he’ll be releasing the second part of his album soon, we thought we’d throw it back to my all-time favorite song of his. Enjoy!

Performance of the Day

Justin Timberlake performed “Cry Me A River” this past weekend at the iHeartRadio concert in Vegas and definitely threw some shade at his ex Britney Spears.

Fast forward to 2:20.

Oh Justin. Don’t you know you dodged a bullet…

Young Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake Sing At Summer Camp

I heard last night that Justin Timberlake paid a visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and since I missed it, I had to check it out for myself. I absolutely love these two together. Can they just have their own show already? I know that Justin Timberlake is visiting Late Night every Tuesday up until his album drops on Sept. 30 so I’m crossing my fingers that another History of Rap will be happening soon!

These videos were just too funny that i caught myself snorting on one occasion. That never happens to me, ford the record.

In Justin Timberlake News…

Oh yes.

And secondly, fans were so unhappy about the extra long tracks from his first album that they asked for the edited radio versions to be released. They can now be bought on iTunes, but in my opinion – I’d just like to say that we should embrace these long tracks! Shouldn’t we respect an artists’ creative vision? (Especially an artist like J. Timbers)

In Case You Missed It…

“If you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life, you made one really good decision.”

– Justin Timberlake, on marrying “best friend” Jessica Biel, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

I posted this earlier this week in video form, but in case you missed it – here it is a second time in just simple quote form.

Cover of the Day

Because even though it’s not Justin Timberlake himself, it’s still his song. And who doesn’t love this song?
