After the Met Ball, this might be the second best dressed night during the year.
Anna Wintour in Chanel – she hosted the whole thang so she had to be first.
It killed me that I couldn’t post every look and have this ready to go for you all this morning! I was so excited to see some of the looks from the Met Gala yesterday evening and then a part of me knew that I would hate some looks as well. With the theme being, “China: Through the Looking Glass,” I was concerned that there would be jabs poked at stereotypes and Asian trends that would make me cringe. Of course there were, but like all things, we have to move on and not dwell on them. In the interest of saving time (and space!) I am choosing not to include looks that I felt were in poor taste.

Just as she was rising to the top of Victoria’s Secret stardom, Karlie Kloss is preparing to make her exit. It was reported last week that the angel is indeed walking away from all the VS modeling gigs and trading in those wings for a bunch of school books. This fall, Karlie will officially be a student at New York University! Hooray! She’s not quitting modeling for good, however, but as you might imagine, a contract with Victoria’s Secret takes up a fair amount of time. At least she’s walking away with four Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows under her belt. While at NYU, Karlie will be enrolled at Gallatin School of Individualized Study and word on the street was that former supermodel Christy Turlingtun Burns was the one who actually wrote Karlie’s letter of recommendation. Awwww. It’s hard to believe she’s just 22 because the girl seems much wiser beyond her years. We’re excited for her education and what she’ll do next!
So having two best friends on the cover of Vogue is awfully sweet and kind of adorable. How can we hate it? The editorial is even better because the two friends ventured all the way to Big Sur for this photoshoot. Check out the goods underneath the cut!
The secret’s out! Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift are Vogue’s March cover girls! In this short clip by Vogue, the two compete for the title of the “best best friend.”
Ariana Grande of course. You know you’re doing something right when you’re performing a medley of your four hits at an event. Also I wasn’t able to include a video of Taylor Swift’s performance, but I loved seeing her perform “Style.” This was my first time ever hearing this song and it’s totally just a girl anthem that I can see myself belting out if I ever heard it on the radio. Also how qt was her moment with Karlie walking down the runway? Just date already.
And now, we bring to you a post of our favorite looks. Here’s our bright and shiny star Karlie Kloss! Just fair warning – we had a LOT of favorites.
We’ve pretty much adored supermodel Karlie Kloss long before she was given the title of Taylor Swift’s bff and here’s why! I actually found this video to be quite cheeky and I can imagine that this is probably exactly how she is in real life.
I wasn’t quite sure if I wanted to make this the Song of the Day, but as I listen to the song a second time and then a third time, I realized how much it was growing on me. I wanted to keep this simple though so here are just my thoughts on this:
So wait, which song is better – Taylor’s or Mariah’s?

The CFDA awards highlights the best of the best in the fashion industry annually. This year, celebrities and the most notable players in the fashion world came out for one of the best dressed events of the year. We’re highlighting our favorite looks below and the winners below that.
I can’t believe it’s time already for the most fashionable night of the year! It’s crazy to think that a year has already gone by. I feel like I was making the 2013 post just last month. This year’s theme is White Tie and Decorations.
Of course we’re kicking things off with Queen Bey and Jay.
