I’m tired of hearing about all of this surgery talk going around. Even hearing about Megan Fox’s surgeries for the first time were overbearing. Then came Heidi Montag and her ten in one day. They weren’t even that significant because she got a boob job on top of another boob job and then something crazy, which involved “carving out her back.” I am forever hearing people are going to breast implants Bryn Mawr, but I still don’t see the attraction.
I’ve officially decided that getting surgery is the act of being overly self-conscious. I don’t expect you to agree with me on that statement. I understand that it is quite controversial. Unless you need surgery for your nose to help you breathe, then I just don’t see the point. Maybe you messed something up in an accident – that’s okay. I might even be okay with Kate Gosselin’s tummy tuck after having her eight kids! gdossibly leaveecide t a little bit on have this procedure done and I’m hoping they get it done at specialist clinics like Luxurgery, in the hopes of feeling confident with their body after pregnancy. What I’m not okay with is that show they once had on FOX called The Swan. Who’s idea was that? Those women ended up having multiple surgeries that were even more ridiculous. What a terrible show… to have your loved ones nominate you as being “ugly” and then having you be on this show requiring you to receive lots of surgery so that you can be “a swan.”
Nowadays, people are living with the idea that surgery can fix anything. It is the solution to everything. Surgeon Bai Helong has now decided that people should have surgery to “fix” their height. Yes, this has been an issue for some men and women alike, but is it really necessary? Apparently, he has found a safe way to give an extension to legs in order to make his patients “grow a few inches.”
“By cutting through the tibia and the fibula below the knee and screwing braces on the inner part of his patients’ legs, Helong begins the four-(yes, four)-month-long process of stretching the legs. In that period of time, an extra two to three inches are added, but the patient is required to stay immobile. The surgery will set you back about $11,000 and it takes about 4 months before you can even think about walking again, but in the end, you will be a few centimeters taller.”
A study has also shown that women who are taller get paid more. Yeah, I’ll keep my 11,000 and four months of being able to walk instead.
Jon & Kate Plus 8 used to be a show that I loved to watch. I adored the family with the 8 cutest little kids, but now I have seen what this show has done to both Jon and Kate. At this point, I don’t think I can take anyone’s side because they are both more than a little messed up.
I am opposed to the continuation of this show and hope that this is the final season on TLC. Kate has her books and her talk tours. Jon has his women and his wannabe potential clothing line for a shitty designer. These kids deserve to have a normal childhood out of the spotlight and not in front of the cameras. I wish the media could understand that.
I was unable to catch up on my daily news yesterday, but from what I heard Jon and Kate have been splitting their time with the kids at the house. Last night when Jon was with the kids, Kate had decided to come to the house because she did not approve of the babysitter Jon had chosen. Jon did not let her in and the police were called to enforce and make her leave.
ANNNNNNNNNNNND that’s the last straw for me. I don’t want to talk about this drama anymore or any of the above. It’s for the better and reminds me that my blog is not a tabloid, if you want to hear this stuff google it or flip through the magazines at the grocery store.
Goodbye Jon and Kate, you guys just stfu and stfd.

The season was signed for 40 episodes but only 6 episodes have aired. Due to the tension between Jon and Kate there hasn’t been enough material to produce more episodes but also the hiatus was suggested by the network for obvious reasons.

“Over the course of this weekend, Jon’s activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children,” Kate said in a statement Monday night. “While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself. As always, my first priority remains our children.
Jon released a statement of his own, claiming his wife was the first to make a legal move. “This afternoon, Kate filed for divorce. Our kids are still my number one priority. I love them and want to make sure they stay happy, healthy and safe. My job is being the best, most supportive and loving father that I can be to my kids, and not being married to Kate doesn’t change that.”

Did anyone watch tonight’s episode? I felt like Kate did a lot of inspirational talk and Jon seemed like he really didn’t care that much but like he said, he’s not a good communicator. Overall, I think I felt sad for both of them. I’ve been watching this show for two + years and I want to see the kids turn out okay after all of this.
Kate Gosselin was photographed grabbing Leah and spanking her because Leah wouldn’t stop blowing a whistle and Kate lost it.

In the season finale of Jon & Kate Plus 8 that aired last Monday, Jon and Kate didn’t know if they would opt for a fifth season. Kate was doin’ her thang and Jon was getting left in the dust and involved in scandals. (What else is new?) But the network announced today that the fifth season would premiere on TLC this summer.
