A Collection Part 35
It used to take me over six months to go back to a blog that I haven’t visited in a while. With my new routine and schedule and the absence of homework, I am able to get through my blogs a lot quicker which frees up more time for me to be creative and to spend more time on posts that mean a lot to me instead of just posting and being done with it. Most of the photographs in this A Collection post came from one blog and go figure it’s called Thriving Twenties so of course we can relate hence why we love it.

I’ve never watched an episode of Mad Men though I’ve heard rave reviews. Apparently Sally Draper is not one to be messed with though and is quite the little sassy one herself. Kiernan Shipka is just 13 years old and geez – clearly not going through an awkward stage. I wish I looked that good at her age, but I’ll have to settle with the fact that we have the same hair cut…now.

Modern Family’s Julie Bowen was one of my absolute favorites last night! I was loving all of the yellow gowns, but this neon one just pops against the red carpet. The actress is wearing Monique Lhuillier.

Kiernan Shipka on now being allowed to watch the show she acts on
Kiernan plays young Sally Draper on AMC’s hit show Mad Men.
“I’m not allowed to watch the show. My mom will tape it and then show me the scenes she feels are appropriate. [...] I’m very method when I’m on set. It’s just kind of thinking the thoughts of Sally, and I pretty much just become her. It’s a character that I’ve known for a really long time, so it’s pretty easy. [...] I don’t think she’s a bad kid at all. She’s going through a rough time. Don is absent and Betty has never once catered to Sally’s emotional needs, so I feel that they’re not the best parents.”
