We’re a Part of the Little Mix Fan Club
Have you noticed a pattern lately on Yow Yow?! Well we’re obsessed with Little Mix! This came long before I saw them at Taylor Swift and sometime after “Black Magic” was released. Yesterday, I watched a clip of the girls performing their song “The End” in which Perrie broke down at the end in tears. Going through a breakup is never easy. Going through a breakup and having to continue to go to work and be “on” at all times while promoting your new single and album is even more difficult. I think all of the mixers can agree that our hearts go out to the girl. Today, they killed it in their acoustic performance of “Black Magic” though and we hope Perrie is having a better day than yesterday! She certainly still looks phenomenal.

Performance of the Night
We couldn’t catch the Teen Choice Awards tonight because we just had to watch Bachelors in Paradise, but we’re pretty sure that this was the most adorable performance of the night. I can’t believe I got to see Little Mix perform last night alongside Taylor Swift!

We Went to Taylor Swift!
Sometime last year, my co-workers had bought 24 tickets to Taylor Swift. At the time, I was like “Oh, nah I don’t want to go. I hadn’t even listened to 1989 really.” Then the week before the concert was actually happening, a serious wave of FOMO fell over me. I needed a ticket. I wanted to go, but I didn’t want to say anything because I had turned it down so hard before! Luckily, someone pulled out in that final week and a spot had opened up to which I quickly accepted. Even in the time since the album was released, I still hadn’t listened to it that much other than the songs that had gotten radio play, but I was still really excited. I’ve heard such good things about Taylor as a performer and I really wanted to see it for myself!
As a group, we held a “Taylor Tailgate” prior to going into Levi’s Stadium. The demographics around us? Young girls and their parents, as expected! This was still one of the most fun things that I’ve been a part of this summer though 🙂

Okay so I was slightly embarassed when I decided that I actually loved this song. It totally reminds me of old school Spice Girls and all those British girl groups that I used to love though, plus it’s really fun to sing in the car.
