Oh I’ve been waiting all day for this because this year…THIS YEAR I will be attending Sasquatch. I decided earlier this week that it was just unacceptable for me to pass up on the festival especially since it’s the one festival that I haven’t been to in Washington – well the only one that matters anyway.

Bring on the music festival season! The first lineup for spring music festivals has just been released and I couldn’t be more excited even though there is not a chance at all for me to attend. The life of a poor college student right? As always, Coachella doesn’t disappoint and even though I won’t be attending this year, I know that someday I will and fingers crossed – it will be because it’s part of my job.

I could care less about some of the “Electric Dance Music” buzz (that’s right, I’m refusing to call it EDM,) but there are some acts under that category that I wouldn’t mind seeing.

Two out of three days was just enough to make this festival not only the highlight of my summer, but the most memorable moment of the year. This was a great year for local hip hop group Champagne Champagne! We had them over at Seattle U earlier in the year for a CoffeeHaus set and then later saw them on the lineups for Capitol Hill Block Party, Doe Bay Fest and Bumbershoot.
